Circa 1900 (RB0012) Joseph Arthur White homesteaded to Whites Falls area, Gloucester Pool in the late 1800's where he built a large stone house (demolished 2016) on the North shore of White's bay near the falls. He was a millwright at the sawmill at Port Severn.
